Shawna Mills is a professional story artist, Creative Director, Designer and Founder of SodaMonkeyEntLLC. She has been working in the animation industry for over 15 years. Originally from Harlem NYC, she began her animation industry career out of high school in development for an HBO show called Jungle Crooks, she also did freelance work as a board artist for Disney and Titmouse while working as a one-woman studio animating full music videos for hip-hop musicians.
She has done notable work on Black Dynamite (Cartoon Network), Star Wars Rebels (Lucasfilm), Spiderman (Marvel), as well as projects for Dreamworks, Sony, and Warner Bros. Shawna Mills is currently a show developer and director at Nickelodeon Animation. Development works include: Onyx Equinox, Wacky Races and BoomTagX.
